Are you using mobile technologies in your department? Do you or any of your colleagues have an example of mobile learning that you would like to share? The Technology User Group invites you to share your experiences on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 12:30 to 1:45 PM!
Mobile learning or “mLearning” is broadly defined as any learning which takes place outside the classroom and away from a desktop computer. This includes a vast variety of technology tools such as mobile phones, laptops, flip cameras, Kindles and well known mobile devices like the iPod Touch and the iPad. Our next TUG seminar will be a sharing session with lightning round examples of mobile learning followed by breakout group discussions lead by our presenters. If you would like to participate as a presenter for this TUG session, please contact Frances Rowe by Friday October 22, 2010.
